Ahead of our Samurai Cop double bill, we were fortunate enough to put some questions to Gregory Hatanaka, director of Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance about the challenges of making a sequel to a cult classic, hiring a blind cinematographer, a co-producer getting arrested and working with the likes of Bai Ling and Tommy Wiseau.

After working together on Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance, director Gregory Hatanaka and Tommy Wiseau are re-teaming for a new project – EXTREMES.
Little is known about the project at the moment, but it will feature a lot of the cast of Samurai Cop 2 including Bai Ling, Nicole Bailey, Mel Novak and Laurene Landon.
Gregory Hatanaka will be writing the film as well as directing it and has promised “Besson action elements”.
